Foodbank SA & NT Inc

Woodville Food Hub

As Foodbank SA & NT, we proudly envision an end to hunger by efficiently providing good food to those in need. We currently serve over 152,000 South Australians and Territorians monthly, a third of whom are children, acting as the pantry for the charity sector and supporting over 550 school programs. With the Community Kickstart Grant, we will procure essential food supplies to keep the shelves of our Woodville Food Hub stocked. This will provide an additional 20,000 nutritious meals for individuals and families facing hardship in St Clair and surrounding suburbs. These meals alleviate hunger, improve health and emotional well-being, and raise overall living standards, enriching individual lives and strengthening our community. A $10,000 grant will distribute 10,000 kilograms of food, generating an impressive social return on investment of $430,000

Ngutu College

Spare Seat Program

As Ngutu College, an independent, not-for-profit K-12 college in Woodville North, we are passionately committed to redesigning schooling to be genuinely equitable, culturally informed, and authentically child-centered. Supporting over 290 children and young people, many from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds and St Clair, we strive to provide exceptional educational experiences. With the Community Kickstart Grant, we’ll proudly elevate our “Spare Seat” program in Term 4 2025, offering tailored outdoor adventures like stand-up paddleboarding and trail walking for our senior learners from Years 7-10. This energetic initiative will promote well-being, inclusivity, belonging, and vital life skills, creating aspirational opportunities young people might not otherwise access, helping them thrive beyond the classroom and fostering a lasting positive impact.

The Reily Foundation Inc

Grow Our Resource Program

As an organisation dedicated to empowering families involved with the child protection system, we believe in offering holistic support that integrates education, therapeutic services, and strong advocacy. Our work is grounded in the belief that biological connections hold deep significance in a child’s life and should be honored whenever safe and appropriate. With the Community Kickstart Grant, we are excited to develop a suite of accessible, culturally sensitive videos and online resources designed to guide families through the often complex child protection system. These resources, co-designed with Aboriginal communities, CALD families, and parents with disabilities, will help parents understand their rights, access support services, and advocate for their children with confidence. By removing barriers to information, we can foster a more equitable system that empowers families and prioritises the well-being of children.
